Maintenance

What maintenance is required after the job is finished?

Generally speaking damp mopping with a simple solution of vinegar and water is recommended and felt glides on all moving furniture will preserve the beauty of your wood floors. Depending on use and abuse recoating instead of refinishing can renew the luster of your floors.

Durability

How many times can my floors be resanded or refinished?

Wood flooring tends to endure the life of the house. Opportunities to resand or refinish are limited five to eight times. Circumstances of broken pipes, plants and pets can significantly diminish the wood's life or limit decorating options.

Pricing

How is the pricing determined on Fabulous Floors services?

Pricing of wood floors is subject generally in terms of square footage, but variables such as species of wood, widths, the addition of borders, vents, and the customer's special needs, as well as the detail of insuring that the sub floor is adequately prepared for a new floor effect pricing. Resanding and refinishing once again is based on the square footage.
